Volunteer Assistant

Former Alaska Anchorage all-conference middle blocker Erin Braun joined the Seawolf staff as a volunteer assistant in 2017.

Originally from San Bernardino, California, Braun played for UAA from 2013-16, finishing her career as the winningest player in program history with a 103 victories, plus the program record for block assists with 427. She also finished No. 2 in career attack percentage (.303) and total blocks (469), plus 5th in bps (1.08), 6th in matches played (125) and sets played (434), 14th in kills (762).

Becoming one of the first two players in program history to play in four straight NCAA Tournaments, she helped the Seawolves to back-to-back Great Northwest Athletic Conference titles her final two seasons, along with an appearance in the 2016 NCAA Div. II National Title Match.

Braun was an All-GNAC performer as a senior, an honorable mention All-GNAC pick as a sophomore, and the 2013 GNAC Freshman of the Year. Also a three-time GNAC All-Academic honoree, she is on track to earn her bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
