 Ryan Walsh

Former Seawolf track & field athlete Ryan Walsh begins his second season as the head strength & conditioning coach and his third year overall with the University of Alaska Anchorage Athletics program in 2017-18.

Before returning to Alaska, the Fairbanks native began his professional caeer at his alma mater Humboldt State in Arcata, Calif., where he served as both a track & field and strength & conditioning coach in multiple capacities from 2011-15.

Walsh finished his NCAA Div. II sprinting career at Humboldt State after competing two seasons for the Seawolves from 2006-07, earning Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic as a sophomore.

A 2005 graduate of Monroe Catholic High School, Walsh earned his B.A. in political science from Humboldt State in 2011.
