VOLLEYBALL Coaching Staff
Calli Scott
Student Assistant Coach

Former UAA star Calli Scott is back with the Seawolf coaching staff for her second season as the program’s graduate assistant coach in 2016.

A former setter, Scott played a key role last year in helping head coach Chris Green and the Seawolves achieve the best record in program history (27-3) and reach the NCAA Tournament Second Round. She  was also instrumental in the development of first-team All-GNAC pick Morgan Hooe, who became the first setter in program history to earn All-America honors.

As a player, Scott became the first Seawolf to earn the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year award, along with first-team All-West Region and honorable mention All-American accolades as a senior in 2009. Among her other accomplishments, UAA’s career record-holder for assists per set (10.64) piloted her team to the GNAC title and its first-ever NCAA Tournament Second Round berth as a senior.

Scott was also the 2008 GNAC Newcomer of the Year and UAA’s 2009-10 Bill MacKay Athlete of the Year.

Before coming north, the Phoenix native was a two-year standout at Glendale Community College, where she played both setter and libero.

Scott earned her bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts from UAA in 2011.
