ANCHORAGE - Junior outside hitter Sarah Phipps had seven kills and seven digs Saturday to help Harding beat Ohio Valley 25-8, 25-9, 25-3 in the third-place match of the Extended Stay Deluxe Invitational volleyball tournament at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex.

The Lady Bisons (2-2) had 37 kills and just two attack errors for a blistering .449 as they were able to get several reserves into the action.

The Fighting Scots (0-4) got a match-high 15 digs from libero Mandy Strom.

It was the second trip to the Invitational for the winning squad from Searcy, Ark., which also captured third place in 2004.
