Alaska Anchorage will host Michigan Tech in a pair of games this weekend at Sullivan Arena. 
Alaska Anchorage trails the all-time series with Michigan Tech 32-33-16 but leads the series in Anchorage 19-14-10. The two teams have skated to a tie in their last five meetings. 
First Goal
Freshman Tanner Schachle scored his first career goal at Alabama Huntsville last weekend. The Wasilla, Alaska, native opened the weekend series with an assist on Carmine Buono’s goal in game one. Schachle lead’s all the UAA freshmen with five points (one goal, four assists). 
Senior Nils Rygaard tallied a pair of assists at Alabama-Huntsville last Saturday. The Norrkoping, Sweden, native ranks second on the team in both points (8) and assists (5). 
Sophomore Eric Sinclair recorded two points against UAH last Saturday. The Kenora, Ontario, native scored the first goal of the game and followed up with an assist on the team’s second goal. 
First Point
Sophomore Aaron McPheters recorded his first point of the season on a goal by Nicolas Erb-Ekholm at UAH Friday. The Anchorage, native has five career points, all assists. 
Career Leaders
Senior Nicolas Erb-Ekholm scored his team-leading 18th career goal, and senior Jeremiah Luedtke recorded an assist for his team-leading 38th career point last weekend at Alabama Huntsville. 
Out of the Box
Sophomore Jordan Xavier is the only skater on the team who has not been whistled for a penalty this season.
