ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Andrew Lane scored his first career goal for Alaska Anchorage in a 4-1 loss to Northern Michigan Saturday.

Lane lit the lamp for the Seawolves at 10:33 of the first period thanks to assists from Trey deGraaf and Nicolas Erb-Ekholm.

The Seawolves lead would hold until midway through the third period.

Jarrett Lee scored the first of four NMU goals in the third period at 12:50.

The Wildcats added two more goals by Joseph Nardi and Adam Rockwood at 13:36 and 14:07.

Troy Loggins scored an empty-net goal at 17:59.

Kris Carlson made 26 saves for UAA.

NMU led 31-18 in shots. The Seawolves were scoreless on their lone powerplay of the evening and held the Wildcats scoreless on their three chances on the man-advantage.

Alaska Anchorage will play at Alabama Huntsville Jan. 18-19.
