Alaska Anchorage returns home for four straight home games starting with Bemidji State Nov. 2-3. Saturday’s game will start at 4:07 pm to accommodate travel arrangements for Bemidji State.
Bemidji State leads the all-time series with Alaska Anchorage 12-2-4 and leads the series in Anchorage 5-1-2. The Beavers have won 9 of the last 10 meetings against the Seawolves with the lone UAA win (4-1) coming at home in 2016.
Junior Carmine Buono scored his first collegiate goal for the Seawolves in last Saturday’s loss at Ferris State. The transfer from UMass has an assist to go along with his goal in four games this season.
Sophomore Kris Carlson saw his first collegiate starting both games of the series at Ferris State. Carlson, who spent one season at Providence, made 50 saves across the two games.
Alaska Anchorage has scored eight goals this season by eight different players.
Last weekends 4-0 shutout at Ferris State was the first time the Seawolves had been shutout since Dec. 16, 2017 at Bemidji State. The score? 4-0.
The senior class continues to lead the team in both goals (four) and points (eight). The junior and sophomore classes each have a team-high five assists. The freshmen class, who have three assists, are still looking for their first goal.
