ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Alaska Fairbanks had six players finish with two points in a 7-2 win over Alaska Anchorage Friday.

Colton Leiter opened the scoring for the Nanooks 45 seconds into the contest, and Troy Van Tetering extended the lead to 2-0 at 11:09.

Tyler Cline scored back-to-back goals for UAF in the second, and Austin Vieth pushed the lead to 5-0 at the end of the second.

Colton Leiter scored his second goal of the contest 20 seconds into the third period on Brody Claeys who replaced Olivier Mantha at the intermission. Mantha finished with 14 saves.

Mason Anderson scored his first goal of the season with a rip from the blueline. He was assisted on the goal at 11:33 by Nolan Nicholas and Jonah Renouf.

Kylar Hope answered with a goal for UAF 23 seconds later.

Jonah Renouf tallied his second point of the evening with an unassisted goal at 13:25.

UAF led in shots 29-24.

The Nanooks finished 2-4 on the powerplay and the Seawolves were 0-4.

Alaska Anchorage (1-10-4, 1-5-3-3) and Alaska Fairbanks (6-11-2, 4-8-1-1) will face-off again Saturday at 7:07 pm.
