WISCONSIN HANDS UAA PAIR OF LOSSES: The Seawolves were handed their second road sweep of the season, falling to Wisconsin, 5-1 on Nov. 13 and 6-2 on Nov. 14 ... on Friday, the Seawolves fell behind early and couldn't come back, allowing three UW goals in the first period ... scoring UAA's lone goal was junior F Craig Parkinson on the power play ... assists were credited to freshman forwards Mickey Spencer and Daniel Naslund ... on Saturday, senior F Josh Lunden posted both of UAA's goals ... Lunden put the Seawolves on the board first, but UW added four goals in the third period for the Seawolves' fifth loss in the last six outings ... senior F Kevin Clark, junior F Tommy Grant and junior D Luka Vidmar each were credited with helpers.
SEAWOLVES BITES: The Seawolves enter the series after being swept by Wisconsin at the Kohl Center, 5-1, 6-2 ... UAA continues to be winless in conference road games (0-4-0), after UW swept UAA for the third straight time ...the Seawolves have won one of the last six games ... with the win, UW improves its all-time record against UAA to 44-13-8 and 26-7-3 at home ... UW extends its winning streak against UAA to six games ... for the seventh time this season, UAA has allowed four or more goals against and is 0-7-0 when doing so ... the Badgers kept UAA with two or fewer goals for the seventh time this season; UAA is 2-5-0 when scoring two or less ... the Badgers peppered UAA with a season-high 37 shots on net on Friday before improving that mark to 42 shots on net on Saturday ... PLAYER NOTES: Scoring two of the three UAA goals this weekend was senior F Josh Lunden (5-2-7) ... Lunden posted his first two-goal game since March 6, 2009 against Minnesota Duluth, and sixth overall ... Lunden leads all current UAA scorers with 44 goals - breaking him into the top 20 on the all-time career list tied at No. 19 ... Lunden, tied with Steve Cygan (1999-02) Brian Kraft (1990-92) and Troy Norcross (1992-95), has scored the most Seawolf goals since Mark Stitt (1992-95) with 45 ... Lunden also picked up his first career shorthanded goal on Saturday ... the last Seawolf who posted a two-goal game was junior F Sean Wiles (11/7/09 vs. DU), while the last shorthanded goal was accomplished by senior F Kevin Clark (10/17/09 vs. Robert Morris) ... scoring UAA's lone goal on Friday was junior F Craig Parkinson (3-1-4) on the power play - his 6th career PPG ... assisting on the goal were freshmen forwards Mickey Spencer (1-3-4) and Daniel Naslund (1-5-6) ... Naslund is tied for 4th in points this season with six, and tied for 2nd in assists ... picking up helpers on Saturday were Clark (5-4-9) and junior F Tommy Grant (2-7-9) - both lead UAA with 9 points this season ... junior F Luka Vidmar (1-3-4) also received an assist on Lunden's first goal of the game ... in net on Saturday was junior Bryce Christianson (2-4-0, 4.01gaa, .865 sa%), who stopped a season-high 36 shots - just two shy of his all-time best ...
