HUNTSVILLE, ALA. – Brennan Saulnier scored twice to lead Alabama Huntsville to a 5-1 win over Alaska Anchorage in WCHA action Friday.

Saulnier opened the scoring with a power-play goal, the only one of the game, at 2:18 of the first period. He followed up with his second goal, and the second of the game, at 4:52 of the second.

Austin Azurdia put the Seawolves on the board with his team-leading fourth goal of the season at 7:06 of the second period. Azurdia has scored four goals in his last four games. Jeremiah Luedtke and Tad Kozun each recorded assists.

The Chargers threw a flurry of shot on goal before Christian Rajic finally got one past Seawolf goalie Olivier Mantha at 10:30 of the second. Mantha finished with 35 saves.

Levi Wunder closed the scoring in the second period with a Charger goal at 16:49.

Madison Dunn completed the scoring with an empty-net goal at 18:08.

UAH out-shot UAA 40-17. UAA led 32-26 in faceoffs.

Alaska Anchorage (1-7-1, 1-2-0) and Alabama Huntsville (3-6-0, 2-1-0) will battle again Saturday.
