WOODLAND, Calif. – Alaska Anchorage Isabelle Fox was chosen the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation’s Freshman of the Week for women’s gymnastics on Tuesday, following a pair of all-around victories to open the 2018 campaign.

Fox, from Houston, Texas, delivered the best two all-around scores for a Seawolf since 2016 with a 38.375 on Friday and a 38.725 on Sunday, leading UAA to a pair of home victories over Cortland. She scored a 9.60 or better on seven of eight routines, winning floor exercise both nights with a 9.70 and a 9.775. Fox also helped the Seawolves break 190 on Sunday (190.975), despite being down to just eight healthy gymnasts.
