WEST YELLOWSTONE, MONT. – The University of Alaska Anchorage Nordic ski team battled heavy snows on the final day of the University of Utah Invite Friday.

Jenna DiFolco led the Seawolves in the 15-kilometer freestyle with a 20th place finish (52:07).

Sadie Fox finished 22nd (52:41), and Michaela Keller-Miller was 27th (55:00).

Tracen Knopp led the men’s team with a 28th place (1:01:37) showing in the 20-kilometer freestyle.

Zackarias Toresson was 29th (1:02:13), and Marcus Dueling was 30th (1:02:24).

The University of Utah swept the individual titles with Guro Jordheim (45:42) winning the women’s and Hakon Hjelstuen (54:01) winning the men’s.

UAA finished sixth overall as a team with 333 points.

Alaska Anchorage will compete at the University of New Mexico Invite Feb. 3-4.
