ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Lars Arneson and Denali Strabel battled stiff competition and wet conditions to win the Turnagain Arm Trail Run Thursday.
Lars Ameson covered the eight mile course in a time of 51:44. Denali Strabel, who finished 11th overall, won the women’s race in 59:21.
Michael Connelly won the men’s four-mile race (30:45), and Tara Masters, who placed fourth overall, won the women’s in 40:30.
The race had 175 finishers and serves as a fundraiser for the Alaska Anchorage ski team.
