ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – University of Alaska Anchorage Nordic skier Hailey Swirbul earned Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Team honors Friday.

Swirbul, a native of El Jebel, Colo., was the NCAA Runner-Up in the classic race and finished third in the freestyle at the NCAA Championships. She earned a silver medal in the classic race and a bronze medal in skiathlon at the World Junior Championships in Goms, Switzerland. Swirbul has a 4.0 GPA in civil engineering.

Swirbul will advance to the national ballot for Google Cloud Academic All-American honors.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District Teams are selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America. To eligible, student-athletes must have completed two semesters at their current institution and have a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
