ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Caroline Kurgat of Alaska Anchorage earned Google Cloud Academic All-American honors in track and field/cross country from the Collegiate Sports Information Director’s of America Wednesday.

This is the second time that Kurgat has earned Academic All-American honors in her career and she was a finalist for the Honda Award. The native of Eldoret, Kenya, was the United State Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association West Region Athlete of the Year and was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Female Athlete of the Year.

Kurgat won four NCAA national titles this year (indoor – 3K & 5K, outdoor – 5K, 10K) and finishes her career with seven national titles. She holds three national records (indoor – 3K & 5K, outdoor – 10K) and has a 3.47 GPA in medical laboratory science & nursing.
