ANCHORAGE – Sophomore winger Colton Beck score a pair of goals and goaltender Scott Greenham made 21 saves Saturday to lift Alaska Fairbanks to a 3-1 victory over Clarkson in Game 3 of the Kendall Hockey Classic at Sullivan Arena.

The Nanooks (1-1-0) got the game-winning goal from junior winger Nik Yaremchuk on a power-play goal with 8:36 remaining as they evened their record and captured third place in the tournament standings.

Clarkson (0-1-1) got another outstanding effort from goalie Paul Karpowich, who made 32 saves, but the ECAC Hockey club could only manage Nick Tremblay’s power-play goal midway through the second period.

Beck was named the Kendall Player of the Game.
