Anthony Tomsich
Assistant Coach

Anthony Tomsich is in his second season at UAA as an assistant coach in 2014-15 after serving as an graduate assistant for two seasons with the cross country and track & field teams.

Tomsich is a former runner from GNAC foe Western Washington University and grew up in Fairbanks, attending West Valley High.

While with the Vikings, Tomsich was named the GNAC 2006-07 Male Athlete of the Year and earned All-America honors in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Div. II Outdoor Championships in 2007. He also posted a career-best time of 3:48.72 – third-best in school history. Tomsich also won that event at the GNAC Championships in a league- and meet-record time of 3:50.25.
