ANCHORAGE- The UAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee will host a blood drive on Thursday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in front of the Well Fargo Sports Complex on the UAA campus.

All participants wishing to donate blood are encouraged to make an appointment by calling the Blood Bank of Alaska at 222-5630, although walk-ups are welcome. The Seawolves are hoping to eclipse their record of 57 units of blood donated in 2009. Hot dogs and music will be provided.

Prior to donating, make sure to eat well and drink plenty of fluids. A photo I.D. with a birth date or SSN is required in order to give.
