HUNTSVILLE, UTAH – Li Djurestaal led the University of Alaska Anchorage with an 11th place finish in the giant slalom at the University of Utah Invitational held at Snowbasin Thursday.

Djurestaal posted a two-run time of 2:26.39.

Georgia Burgess finished 13th (2:27.26), and Alix Wells was 15th (2:27.57). Charley Field placed 19th (2:29.55).

Alaska Anchorage sits in sixth place with 54 points, one point behind New Mexico and six points ahead of Colorado.

The men’s team will compete in the giant slalom Friday.
