ATHLETIC FACILITIES

WELLS FARGO SPORTS COMPLEX
The Seawolves host their home games on campus in the 1,000-seat Wells Fargo Sports Complex.
The gym, which has housed Seawolf volleyball, basketball and gymnastics since 1978, provides a comfortable atmosphere for both competitors and fans. Along with a refurbished playing surface in 2010, the gym recently received a facelift with the addition of new plastic bleachers to replace the former wooden seats. Seawolf athletes also make use of the WFSC’s other facilities — weight room, fitness center, 25-meter pool, jogging track and sauna — for training and recreation.

GEORGE M. SULLIVAN ARENA
Alaska’s premier sporting venue, Sullivan Arena is the Seawolves’ regular home for hockey and also houses the UAA’s nationally known Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout basketball tournament. Built in 1983 and located in Midtown Anchorage, the Sullivan seats 6,406 for hockey and 8,700 for basketball.

KINCAID PARK & ALYESKA SKI RESORT
The Seawolves' Alpine skiing teams train at Alyeska Resort, while the Nordic squads and cross country running teams race at the world-renowned trails at Kincaid Park.

THE DOME
UAA will have extensive access to The Dome, the largest air-inflated athletic facility in North America, throughout the academic year including dedicated training times. During the winter months, the 174,290-square-foot structure off Minnesota Drive provides a climate-controlled training environment with a six-lane 400-meter track.
