North Dakota on tap for hockey this week
Alaska Anchorage will play a non-conference series at former WCHA foe #17 North Dakota this weekend. This will be the second of three non-conference series the Seawolves will play this season. Alaska Anchorage split its first series of the season with Colorado College and will play at Nebraska Omaha Dec. 29-31.
North Dakota leads the all-time series 48-17-5 and leads 28-3-3 in North Dakota. Last season the two teams skated to a 1-1 tie in the season-opener and UND won 3-2 the following night.
Jeremiah Luedtke scored his team-leading second goal of the season last weekend at Northern Michigan. Zach Court and Jordan Xavier each recorded their second assists of the season on the goal.
The senior class leads the team in goals (5) and points (10) while the juniors and sophomores are tied for the team lead with six assists. The freshman class has four assists but is still looking for their first goal.

UAA has scored the most goals in the third period (5 of 10) and has given up the least goals in the third period (8 of 33).

The Seawolves have 15 players with at least one point this season.
Sophomore Brody Claeys ranks fourth in the WCHA in save percentage (.943) and fifth in goals against average (1.62).
Stay Out of the Box
The Seawolves are tied with Michigan Tech as the second least penalized team in the league averaging 9.5 penalty minutes. Minnesota State is the least penalized team averaging 9.0 minutes per game.
Last Time Out
Northern Michigan swept last weekend’s series in Marquette 3-0, 2-1.
Alaska Anchorage will enjoy a weekend off before playing at Minnesota State Dec. 7-8.
