ANCHORAGE - Head bench boss Dave Shyiak announced Monday
that senior defenseman Scott Warner has been named an assistant captain for the
remainder of the Alaska Anchorage hockey season.

though Scott would be a great addition to balance out our leadership group in relation
to our defensive core," said Shyiak, "Scott is well respected in the locker room,
he is a hard worker and one of our best students."
Warner, a local of Anchorage, will join junior Matt Bailey
as an assistant captain, while senior Chris Crowell dresses as this season's
