ANCHORAGE - Former men's basketball coach Charlie Bruns and hockey star Doug Spooner were inducted to the Seawolf Hall of Fame in the 2012 induction ceremonies at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex.
Bruns, who roamed the sidelines from 1980-2004, was joined by his wife, daughter and extended family, and introduced by current UAA head coach Rusty Osborne. Spooner, who helped UAA to a pair of NCAA Tournaments from 1987-91, was joined by his wife and daughter, and introduced by longtime friend and former Seawolf hockey equipment manager Kevin Kuper.
