The Seawolves will play 18 homes games this season, starting with the AT&T Jamboree, Nov. 9-10, at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex. Visiting for the Jamboree will be Colorado Christian, Colorado State-Pueblo and Alaska Fairbanks.
Prior to that, UAA opens play with an exhibition contest against Division I opponent Troy on Nov. 5 in Troy, Ala.
The Seawolves will take the court for the 35th annual Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout when they faces Div. I Belmont on Nov. 21. UAA, which has won at least one game in four straight tourneys, will play either UC Riverside or Northeastern on Nov. 23, followed by possible foes Loyola Marymount, Oral Roberts, Texas State or Charlotte on Nov. 24.
UAA begins the 18-game Great Northwest Athletic Conference slate with a pair of early home clashes against longtime rivals, hosting Montana State Billings on Nov. 29 and Seattle Pacific on Dec. 1.
UAA faces a tough January stretch, playing five of seven games on the road, including Jan. 19 at Alaska Fairbanks and Jan. 24 at defending NCAA Div. II champion Western Washington.
The regular season concludes Mar. 2 at MSU Billings.
The 3rd annual GNAC Men’s Basketball Tournament returns to Lacey, Wash., Mar. 7-9. The top six teams qualify, with seeds 3-6 meeting in the quarterfinals and the top two seeds receiving byes into the semifinals.
UAA, which returns three starters from last year’s 23-7 squad, will try to return to the NCAA Division II West Regionals, set for Mar. 15-18.
