Nate Sagan

Nate Sagan enters his 15th year at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2013-14.

In addition to overseeing the athletic communications needs for the Seawolves, he is the primary contact for men's and women's basketball, volleyball and gymnastics.

After undergraduate work and internships at the University of Oregon and the University of California Berkeley, Sagan returned to his alma mater in 1999 and assumed head SID duties three years later. In addition to serving as the media liaison for UAA’s 13 intercollegiate sports, he is also responsible for the department’s publications and the website.

The Kansas City, Mo., native earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and public communications from UAA in 1997, and he is a 1991 graduate of East Anchorage High School. He and his wife Christine are the parents of two daughters and one son.
