The University of Alaska Anchorage will play its final series of 2017 at Bemidji State Dec. 15-16.

Bemidji State leads the all-time series 12-2-4 that dates back to 2010. The Beavers lead the series 7-1-2 in Bemidji.

First Goal
Freshman Mason Anderson scored his first career goal in Friday’s 7-2 loss to Alaska Fairbanks. The Anchorage native has one goal and one assist this season in 10 games.

Multi-Point Game
Sophomore Jonah Renouf recorded the fourth multi-point game of his career with a goal and an assist in Friday’s loss to UAF. The Mississauga, Ontario, native ranks second on the team with 10 points and leads the team with eight assists.

Time in Net
Freshman Brody Claeys saw action in net for the second time this season Friday against UAF. The St. Rose, Manitoba, native allowed two goals and made eight saves in 20 minutes of action.

UAA has had 22 different players record a point this season. Senior Austin Azurdia leads the team with eight goals and 13 points. Sophomore Jonah Renouf leads the team with eight assists.

Senior Success
The senior class leads in both goals (13) and points (27), while the sophomores lead with 16 assists.

Third Period Scoring
UAA scored three of its four goals against UAF in the third period. The third period has been the most successful for the Seawolves who have scored 12 in the final frame.

Last Time Out
Alaska Fairbanks swept both games (7-2, 3-2) against Alaska Anchorage at Sullivan Arena last weekend.

Looking Ahead
Alaska Anchorage will open the New Year with a two-game home stand against Minnesota State Jan. 5-6.
