ANCHORAGE - The 2011-12 Alaska Anchorage women's basketball season was commemorated Saturday night as the returning members from last year's squad received their Great Northwest Athletic Conference/West Region championship rings in a ceremony at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex.

Alysa Horn, Sasha King, Jordan Martin, Alli Madison and Kylie Burns were on hand to accept their hardware between sets in the Seawolf volleyball team's 3-2 victory over Alaska Fairbanks.

The Seawolves finished 30-5 last season, winning the GNAC regular-season and tournament titles, before going on to earn the program's third Elite Eight berth in five seasons.
