The University of Alaska Anchorage women's basketball team will hold open tryouts on Sunday, Sept. 16, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Sports Complex gymnasium.

"I'm excited to get started at UAA," said new head coach Ryan McCarthy. "This will be a good chance for our staff to meet the students and see if there are any contributors out there."
