ARLINGTON, Va. - Former Alaska Anchorage hockey player Jay Beagle
re-signed with the Washington Capitals, announced by general manager George
McPhee on Thursday.
Beagle, who dressed with the Seawolves from 2005-07, signed
a three-year contract with the Capitals after setting a career-high four goals
and five points last season. Over the three years, Beagle will rack in 2.7
million.
The Calgary, Alberta, native registered 10 points (seven
goals, three assists) in 82 career NHL games, all with Washington.
