Former UAA gymnast Melissa Jabaay returns to Coach Paul Stoklos’ staff in 2011 for her fifth campaign.

An accomplished dancer and choreographer, she will concentrate on the finer points with the Seawolves on floor exercise.

After competing for the Seawolves in 1999, the Birmingham, Ala., native has pursued a professional performing career, working as a dancer for three seasons in various productions at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va., and later becoming the dance supervisor in charge of casting, hiring, teaching and choreography.

Jabaay (formerly Morgan) has performed in Australia, New Zealand and Italy as an Alabama Dance Ambassador and danced professionally in the Miss Alabama and Miss America Homecoming Productions.

She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in theatre from UAA in spring of 2010. Jabaay and her husband Aaron are the parents of two children.
