2011 ALL-AMERICAN

2011: Earnerd first All-America honor after finishing 2nd in the 20K classical at NCAA Championships in March … also finished 21st in the 10K freestyle race at the NCAAs … recorded three top-10 showings throughout the season, including a 7th place in the classical at the Denver Invite (Feb. 11-12) … competed in seven races with the Green & Gold, leading the Seawolves in two races ... completed season with 31st-place ranking in RMISA men's Nordic standings with 110 points.

BEFORE UAA: Attended Liberty Bell High School … member of the Methow Valley Nordic team for seven years and the Methow Olympic Development team for one year … a three-time junior national champion … finished 10th in sprint at the senior National Championships and second in the junior division … placed 21st at the World Juniors - 1st for North America.

PERSONAL: Born July 14, 1991 in Omak, Wash. … son of Tom and Mary Bjornsen … two sisters – Sadie (who competed for the UAA ski team) and Kaley … hobbies include cat skiing … computer science major.
