CRAFTSBURY, VT. – The Alaska Anchorage ski teams opened competition at the 2019 US National Nordic Championships with the classic races Thursday.
Michaela Keller-Miller led the Seawolves with a 54th place finish in the women's 10-kilometer classic races in a time of 34:54.
Teammate Jenna DiFolco was one spot behind Keller-Miller in a time of 34:58.
Hannah Rudd finished 74th (35:39), Anna Darnell was 93rd (36:19) and Casey Wright was 107th (36:38).
JC Schoonmaker led the Seawolves in the men's 15-kilometer classic placing 60th in a time of 45:33.
Tracen Knopp finished 140th (48:29), and Austin Huneck was 209th (51:05).
The Seawolves will compete in the classic sprints Friday.
