UAA ATHLETICS ALUMNI REUNION
As part of the Grand Opening celebration of the Alaska Airlines Center, UAA Athletics and the UAA Alumni Association will host the first ever Seawolf Athletics Alumni Chapter Reunion. This event, will bring together graduates young and old, along with former coaches, administrators, and current staff and student-athletes for a weekend of fun. Some events are reserved just for the alumni, while others are combined with larger Grand Opening focus to provide the ultimate experience for those in attendance. Bring your family and join us for a weekend of fun. RSVP’s are encouraged by August 22 to help us in planning.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 5
3:00 – 4:00pm Reunion attendees check in at the Alaska Airlines Center
4:00pm Official Ribbon Cutting and Public Grand Opening Celebration
Followed by tours of the Alaska Airlines Center
7:00pm UAA Volleyball Game vs. LIU-Post – Springhill Suites Invitational
A group seating section is available for alumni at this event. Wear your green and gold and get ready to cheer the Seawolves on to victory!

SATURDAY, SEPT. 6
10:00am UAA Spirit Run Cost: $5 for general public; Free for UAA students
Come show your UAA pride at the UAA Spirit Run brought to you by Subway and sponsored by the UAA Student Activities. The run will wind through campus, starting and ending at the Alaska Airlines Center. Runners are encouraged to dress in green and gold. Food, refreshments, and entertainment will be provided following the run. The first one hundred runners to sign up will receive a complimentary UAA Spirit Run memorabilia t-shirt. Times Vary McDonald’s Youth Sports Day
UAA men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball and gymnastics will be hosting clinics throughout the afternoon for youth ages 10-14 (5th through 8th grade). Student-athletes and UAA coaches will be leading the skills clinics that will each last between 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours. Start times are still TBD. Registration is limited. 4:00pm Campus Tour
Check out how much campus has changes since you roamed the campus. This guided tour will meet at UAA Alumni Relations (LIB 101A) and make its way through campus and to the Alaska Airlinews Center. A reunion attendee group photo will follow.

5:30pm BBQ – hosted by the Benton Bay Athletic Lions Club
Join the familiar faces of the Lions Club as they play host to a BBQ just for you. On the plaza at the Alaska Airlines Center. There will be door prize drawings including items donated by UAA and Alumni of UAA Athletics.
Evening On your own…meet up with other alumni and hit the town.

4:00pm Alumni slideshow and pre-dinner social
UAA Alumni Relations Office (LIB 101A), just outside the Consortium Library. If you have any current pictures to include in the slideshow, email them along with your information by August 15th to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Appetizers hosted by UAA Athletics.
5:30pm Building Futures Dinner and Silent Auction
Join Athletic Director, Keith Hackett at this very special event celebrating the grand opening of the Alaska Airlines Center.
Hear keynote speaker Bob Beaudine, named by Sports Illustrated as, "the most influential man in sports you've never heard of." As CEO of Eastman & Beaudine, Bob manages the nation's leading executive recruiting firm in sports and entertainment.
The evening will also feature a silent auction with sports memorabilia including signed helmets from NFL greats Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson, and San Francisco 49’er Colin Kaepernick. A signed jersey from UAA’s own Curtis Glencross as well as opportunities to travel with the Seawolves. Proceeds from this event support the Athletic Excellence Fund at the UA Foundation.
