RyAnne Ridge joins the Seawolf coaching staff as the program's top assistant for her first season in 2012-13.

A former Division I player, Ridge comes to UAA after serving as the top assistant at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 2011-12, where she was responsible for recruiting, player development and all other facets of the game.

As a freshman at the University of Tulsa, she was an honor roll student on a squad that advanced to the Women's National Invitation Tournament. She repeated her academic success as a sophomore on a Tulsa team that won the Conference USA Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. She averaged 8.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game as a junior, helping Xavier to the 2003 Iowa state championship.

Ridge graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in psychology in May 2009.
