ANCHORAGE – Junior All-American Jaime Bronga was named to the Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team last week.
A first-team recipient, Bronga earned the honor for the first time of her career with a 3.98 overall GPA in civil engineering. Previously, Bronga was named to the National Ski Coaches Association Academic All-America Team for the third straight season.
Bronga, a local of Anchorage (East HS), earned her second and third All-America accolades after finishing third in the 15K classic and seventh in the 5K freestyle at the NCAAs in Stowe, Vt., this March.
The Women's At-Large Team consists of student-athletes in a sport other than soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, football, cross country or track and field.
