2010 GNAC CHAMPION (long jump)

2010: Earned All-America honors with runner-up finish in the long jump at the NCAA Championships with a personal-best leap of 25-3.25 – earning first career All-America honor … won the long jump in the GNAC Championships with a mark of 24-4.25, winning competition by more than two feet … posted UAA’s best 100 time of the season and a personal-best of 10.87 at the GNAC Championships, good for 4th place in the preliminaries … recorded UAA’s 2nd-best time of the season and a personal-best in the 200 meters (22.17) at the Northridge Invite on March 13 … anchor leg of 4x100-meter relay team that posted a season-best 42.34 time at the Occidental Invite on May 8 … led the GNAC in the long jump – only GNAC athlete to qualify automatically or provisionally in the event … ranked 5th in the 100 and 8th in the 200 within the conference … holds UAA all-time ranks of 4th in the 100, 6th in the 200 and 2nd in the long jump … earned GNAC’s Men’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week honor on March 15.

2009: Earned a flight to the NCAA Championships after posting a long jump mark of 24-4.5, qualifying him provisionally for Nationals ... at the NCAAs, finished 13th in the event with a leap of 22-8 ... career-best jump of 24-4.5 (set at the Pacific Twilight meet) was only the 3rd time a GNAC member had hit the 24-foot mark ... also at Pacific Twilight, posted a personal-best and a UAA season-best in the 100 meters with a time of 10.95 – the only Seawolf in 2009 to break 11 seconds ... 10.95 time ranked 4th in the

UAA all-time record book ... earned GNAC Athlete of the Week honors for his performances at Pacific Twilight ... member of the GNAC All-Academic Team.

2008: Participated in two events at the GNAC Championships, placing 7th in the 100 and 13th in the 200 ... ran season-best 11.11 100-meter race ... ran a leg on UAA’s 4x400-meter relay team for majority of season ... contributed services on three of UAA’s 4x400 relay squad’s school-record breaking performances ... recorded five top-10 finishes, placing a season-best 5th in the 100 at the UNLV Collegiate Classic.

BEFORE UAA: Placed state runner-up in the 200 meters and 4th in the 400 meters at the 2007 Alaska State Track & Field Championships ... finished 8th at state in the 100 meters in 2006.
